January 16, 2021

Josh is on call (this weekend + next, to make up for missed call during our quarantine/COVID saga).

Today

LIIFT4 back/bicep circuit. Had to go way down on weights – guess that is what a month of a lot less strength training will do! But I will work on building back up again!

Flamingo Gardens play date! No longer taking these kinds of things for granted! The kids are excited. I kind of am too.

Laundry x 1.

Organize 365 (Day 5 = Kitchen Junk Drawer. I don’t really have a drawer that fits this description but I do have what could be considered a kitchen junk cabinet and will be clearing this out. Again.)

Meal plan for next week + order groceries for delivery tomorrow morning. Can one do this? I’ve never done it, but I’m assuming yes. If not, tonight is okay too. (If we go too many days without bananas, there is a mini-mutiny and we are definitely out).

Takeout night yay! Annabel seems to be doing better with solids and I will probably let her pick which means likely sushi. Which is fine with me.

We are dangerously low on fruit and are also facing a mini-mutiny but we were outside all am and I can’t persuade myself to leave the nice warm house and walk to the shops or get all 3 of us in the car to go to the farm shop (should have gotten my license before moving to the burbs). I made a fruit salad for my 3 year old yesterday, thinking we’d all share. Got busy doing something and turned around and he had eaten a banana, an apple, and a pear. Fruit monster.

Mmm sushi! Glad A is feeling up to solids! I need to get sushi soon. I haven’t had it in a long time since it was off limits when pregnant.

I signed up for the January cure on apartment therapy but haven’t done a single task. I’m saving the emails to do it when I have my hands free more often!

You guys should be the most popular family in town for playdates. Zero risk you will call the other family tomorrow and say that someone is sick and the covid test is pending!
