The kids will probably be up any second. I would love an additional 30-40 minutes to myself — or while we are dreaming, how about 2 hours?
Do a leisurely version of my weekday morning routine
Work out (bodyweight strength today)
I imagine that there might someday be a time in my life when this could realistically happen. As a child, I used to sleep in until 10-11 regularly on weekends. And I didn’t necessarily stay up very late the night before (let’s just say I wasn’t always able to stay awake through the last half hour of TGIF — it all went downhill after Step by Step). Sometimes I woke up at that leisurely hour to smell of French toast or pancakes (thanks, mom).
Until then I will brace myself for the pitter patter of little feet down the stairs around 7, and remain grateful that it’s not 5 or 6!
Hopefully trade off workout time with Josh
Gymnastics (A & G) while Josh takes C to do something active (skateboarding or something)
Meal plan / groceries
Work on organizing my Sunday Basket (I’ve had one and have been using it, but until last weekend had not procured a working label maker to set up my tabs. Now I have one!)
Clean out gmail
Work on Fall Reading List (my current 2021 reading list is kind of a mess)
