I jumped at the chance to interview Kristen for Best Laid Plans – I’ve been a huge By The Book fan and have followed her since her days working with Gretchen Rubin in the early days of Happier.

It was so much fun to chat! Topics covered: planning for death (! – more uplifting than it sounds), planning memorable dates, planning time solo, and strategic media consumption.

You can find all of Kristen’s work (and there is A LOT of it!) by starting at https://www.kristenmeinzer.com.

Listened this morning, and I loved the discussion around planning some interesting dates. My husband and I have been doing the same “date” almost every Friday night for a long time now, involving nachos. 😆 I actually love the same routine – I look forward to it all week. It’s relaxing and delicious and low key and feels pretty perfect after a long week. But this also inspired me to maybe make a point to switch it up say, once a month, or plan some other different things now and then, too!
