Video game truck for the win! C requested this party again this year (last year, we in front of our current house even though we hadn’t actually moved in yet!).
Lots of his classmates, some neighbors + some family friends plus Bebe + Poppy (Josh’s parents). It was great!
And maybe cake isn’t the BEST for carb loading but it was delicious.
Back tomorrow post race!
PS: today is not C’s bday – just the party. So he isn’t exactly 9 yet, but close.

Just looked up your results and you did it!! 1:58!! Way to go, SHU!! So very happy for you. I think Chelsea predicted 1:58, I guessed 1:57 so was close. Now imagine what you could have run in nice, cool temps!!!
Glad the party was fun! That cake is awesome! So far I have made my boys’ bday desserts but they prefer cookies to cakes. I’ve made a lot of cookie cakes. The decorating is definitely not impressive, though! Outsourcing is hard for me with my gluten intolerance. GF desserts tend to be stupid expensive!
