Ep #305: Need a Summer Fresh Start? Taja Fitness Planner + The Dailee

June 1, 2026

HAPPY JUNE – new month on a Monday. (Hey, it works out 1/7 of the time!)

In today’s episode, I review two planners for listeners looking for some fresh start energy this summer! I remain in a relative state of Planner Peace (I can’t remember a year I didn’t even feel TEMPTED to planner hop by June), but I know that might not be true for everyone. So — here we go!

First is the Taja Fitness Planner (on via Amazon, it’s this one — Amazon affiliate link).

Here’s what the daily spreads in there look like:

This A5 sized undated planner has a ton of features and space for up to 20 weeks of fitness tracking – and is approximately $8, so not a huge risk!

Our second planner up for review is the Dailee 2026-27 Mom Planner (though obviously it could be for anyone in charge of family logistics). This planner is $55 and has over 500 pages (!) of content, from cleaning checklists to packing lists and more.

IT IS A BIG BUBBA, weighing close to 4 lb. I would assume anyone who wanted to use this prefers to keep their planner parked on a desk. As promised, here are some pix!

next to my Hobonichi A5 which has both a Cousin Avec AND a Day Free in it
another view
how i would probably use these pages (mockup)
pen test on 100 GSM paper
brush pen didn’t fare so well (bit of bleed-through there)

A few of the other spreads:

there’s also a cleaning checklist with more specifics for spring but there’s a blank one for each month
meal-planning and grocery space every week
additional planning space for each week – appointments, workouts, tasks

I like the aesthetics and layout of this planner a lot, and the paper is not earthshatteringly amazing but I think it’s completely serviceable. I think this particular edition is best for someone who wants a ton of space AND structure, and doesn’t mind a big hefty book! They do also have other editions that are smaller (ie, don’t include all the individual daily pages), so definitely worth checking those out as well. PLUS digital editions and Notion templates!

Send me ideas for what to review next!

AND YES – if you’d like to win this planner, please enter a comment below and I will randomly draw a winner on Friday. Please note I can only send to US or Canada (it’s so heavy!).

Note: I purchased both of the above planners on my own and have no relationship with the companies.

Hi Sarah! This was a great June 1 episode, with lots of fresh start energy! I would love to put my hat in the ring for the Dailee planner giveaway – I like the big planners, and this one sounds perfect for me. I’m a newer listener to the podcast, and am currently reading and loving your book! Thanks for what you do!

Hi Sarah, what a great way to kick off June! I loved both of these planner reviews and would be interested in trying the Dailee Planner. I worked for 14 years in my industry but am now taking a break in between jobs and being a SAHM is a whole different experience! I could use the planning help. Thank you for everything you do!

Not only is it a month with a Monday start, which I always love, but it’s my birthday. I’m choosing to believe that’s good luck for the whole year.

  • Reply KimW June 1, 2026 at 9:38 am

That Dailee layout looks promising for organizing a day or a project – would love to try it!

  • Reply Candice Adelson June 1, 2026 at 9:43 am

The “cleaning schedule “ section of this planner is really speaking to me! I think that when a planner has very specific task pages it encourages me to schedule things and accomplish them. If there’s a category for something, I’m going to use it and if I write something in my planner, it gets done!

  • Reply Emilie June 1, 2026 at 9:43 am

The Dailee planner looks amazing. Thanks for the chance to win!

  • Reply Courtney June 1, 2026 at 10:13 am

Loved this episode! I used the Dailee planner a few years ago and loved it, except I wanted something more portable. I’m in a new phase now — due in August with a new baby and will be a full time SAHM (yay!!) so the mom planner would be perfect! I’d love to toss my name into the giveaway!!

    • Reply Lisa Scheibe June 1, 2026 at 12:36 pm

Would love the Dailee planner! It sounds so cool to use with my freelance and homeschool life!

Throwing my hat in the ring for the Dailee, as well! Currently halfway through your book and really enjoying it 🙂

Just found you via Cal Newport’s podcast a few weeks back, and, as a father of 3, I’m all-in on quintiles and have been integrating that into my Bullet Journal-based system. First quintile planning today (a bit late – our kids have been out of school for 2 weeks already), June monthly, and a weekly plan – great day to include some new processes.

    Hi Sarah,
Thanks for amazing content. You (and Laura) have been my ear companions as I transitioned back to work after my 2 kids. Your recent book has put me back on the analog planner journey and I’d love the chance to try out the Dailee if I were to be so lucky to be drawn.

    Keep up the amazing content!

Ps I’d love a review of the Laurel Denise pop up Jo planner.

I enjoyed this episode, and am considering getting the fitness planner. I actually don’t want to enter the giveaway for the Dailee planner- I’m happy with my Clever Fox planner, and I think someone else will get more use out of the Dailee than I would. I don’t want a cleaning schedule, ha…

  • Reply Stephanie B June 1, 2026 at 9:02 pm

Long time listener, first time poster and I was intrigued by the Dailee planner. I love a good chunky analog option to track so many things and would love to be entered for it!

I would love to have a chance to win the Dailee planner! For now I’m going to try out the Taja because I’m trying to take more steps to become more active (pun intended) 😁

  • Reply Sara June 2, 2026 at 4:19 am

Please count me in for the giveaway! My planner doesn’t travel with me so this one sounds great.

  • Reply Jess DeFehr June 2, 2026 at 6:18 am

This was a great episode! I’ve seen ads for The Dailee Mom Planner, but having a full review was really helpful! As someone who needs a lot of structure that has 3 kids (one with special needs), a busy job, a husband in school, and a busy social life, this planner sounds like something great to try (especially with the thorough meal plan and cleaning schedule). I’d love to be entered for the planner giveaway!

Also, I loved your episodes on AI! It was interesting to hear your take on it as well as your developed thoughts on the iPhone. New tech can certainly be a weird adventure.

    Thanks for all you do!!

I love your podcast and have been enjoying your book! I would love to win the Dailey. I’m a mom who is leaving teaching this year and feeling a bit stuck with my current planner as my new role as stay at home mom (AKA household CEO) has a lot to stay organized. I didn’t even know a planner like this existed and I would love to give it a try. I’ll probably order one even if I don’t win I love it so much!

  • Reply Julie Welliver June 3, 2026 at 9:09 pm

A New month, a Monday and some new planners to spark an interest! I have to confess, when I get up on Monday morning’s I always get so excited to know that I can look forward to a new Episode of BLP! You always start my week out on the right path! I hope you have a great summer!!!

  • Reply Tammy June 4, 2026 at 8:29 am

I thoroughly enjoy all of your episodes but I especially love planner reviews! I admit to being sort of a planner junkie, although I have been limiting myself to the Sterling Ink Common Planner compact for personal and Moleskine weekly for work for the past year. I’m definitely type A so the Dailee planner certainly intrigues me! Thanks for continuing to provide a fantastic podcast!

  • Reply Jennifer June 4, 2026 at 8:41 am

I want that brick of a planner! Thanks for reviewing!

  • Reply Natalie Thompson June 4, 2026 at 10:45 am

Thank you for the dailee review! I’ve been looking at this one for months now and would love to be considered for the mom planner.

  • Reply Gemma Hartley June 4, 2026 at 6:53 pm

I’m so glad you reviewed the Dailee because it looks absolutely amazing. A little intimidating, but I would still love to try it out if I win!

Oh I’m going to check out this fitness planner. I don’t always stick with it so knowing it’s so inexpensive makes that easier!
