in the past 24 hours, i have:
* melted a plastic cutting board onto one of the burners of our oven (i turned on ‘front’ when i meant to turn on ‘back’: fatal error), causing a pyrotechnic display/disgusting smell/gross mess in mere minutes.
(i will add that this would have been much worse had rebecca not discovered it, mid-melt. she may have saved our house!)
* fallen on both knees and one elbow during a very hilly run in chapel hill (rightfully named), ripping open the knee of some very overpriced winter running pants
i’m headed to lab now. desperately hoping that this trend will not continue. wish me luck.
