Today’s episode opens with a Planner Peace segment from my lovely friend and coworker Kathleen who uses a medium-sized At-A-Glance Weekly and Monthly. This planner may appear basic but it packs a punch in terms of features (and the paper is nice, too!).
Then, I provide a review of the Just Scribble Plans Vertical Weekly A5 Planner (note – preorders closed but orders will open up again later in Nov per the website!). It’s a 2-volume set and a LOT of planning real estate.
I then share some ideas of things I may do differently with my own planning in 2025, followed by a listener question asking for an example of how “Plan a Neighborhood Party” would make its way through the Nested Goals system.

Hmm! I actually really like that At a Glance planner. I haven’t picked a planner yet for 2025 but it’s a contender! I like the layout of the weekly pages, and you get a lot for the price.
Yes it packs a lot in!!!
I think the Scribbles link is broken?
I’ll look into it! Sorry about that 🙂
Oh, I’m sorry – I was looking at it on my phone. I didn’t realize it was sending me to the Scribbles website to shop. I can find it over there. I thought that link was to pictures of your review!
I really wanted to do pictures but with BLP live things got a little crazy last week!! (And then I ended up giving the planner away at BLP live so I couldn’t take pix when I got home 🙂 I admit – poor planning! (ironically!)
Perfect timing because one of the things on my to do today is a 2025 planning pomodoro!!
That looks like a great planner. I wonder how it works with fountain pens. I ordered the hobonichi because the paper does so well with fountain pens, which I love using every day.
I hear you about simplifying. I’ll have my main planner, my 5 year, and my goals notebook. I do have a book journal but it’s a multi year one that I add to every month as part of my monthly review so all of my books read are in one place. I also have a writing journal but that’s about writing, not planning, so it’s in a different category in my mind.
I’ve been thinking of having a valentines day party next year so I really enjoyed that segment… winters are long and cold and dark (here in the UK) and why not have a reason for a Party in February?
