Spring Planner Releases + Thinking About Summer

April 14, 2025

In today’s episode, I reflect on where we are in the year and offers encouragement and ideas to help you start thinking through summer. A little bit of pre-planning, if you will!

I also provide an overview of some fun planner releases for spring, including new editions from Erin Condren, Simplified, and Laurel Denise.

I just viewed the layouts of all 3 brands of planners. Thanks, Dr. Sarah Hart-Unger.
I usually don’t make plans specific to summer or any of the other 3 seasons of the year. What I would consider is making plans for either every 3 months or every quintile of the year.
I do tax returns in quintile 2 every year as well. But to me, I feel like my workplace in quintile 2 is just equally as hectic as any other quintile.

I enjoyed this episode- summer is SO CLOSE! I’m looking forward to it. I do have to say- life is way easier when you no longer need childcare. Sounds like you have some fun things lined up.

It seems wasteful to switch planners every season when planners cover a whole year. Are there planners that only cover a season? At 1/4 the price?

There are some quarterly planners out there. It is true it is somewhat wasteful (though you could certainly use an old planner for scrap paper, handwriting practice paper for younger kids, drawing, etc).
