I just received a tip-off (thanks Jenny!) that my book’s cover is now live on Amazon (and on Bookshop as an ebook, too! Somehow the cover image hasn’t made it to that site for the physical book, but I’m sure it will)! And yes, you can already preorder and you get my unending gratitude if you do!
(My favorite is when I forget I preordered something and then it just comes as a random surprise, like a perfect gift from my past self.)
I LOVE THIS COVER.
Fun fact: once you are working with a publisher, you don’t necessarily get control over what your book looks like (though generally you will get some sort of veto power). This one captures everything I was hoping for and I am so thrilled with it!
The color scheme! The gridlines! The check boxes! The way it matches my podcast logo! AHHHH yes I am super happy.
I haven’t done a lot of thought about book promotion yet but wow — I really do have a book coming out. It’s exciting and feels a bit surreal. I hope you like it though I know that it’s absolutely not going to be for everyone (nor is any book!).
Anyway, I had other things I considered writing about today but I feel like this cover deserves to be celebrated as a standalone. More tomorrow!

The cover is beautiful! It’s everything I had hoped for – it makes me so happy.
In case it helps with ideas for your launch, I really liked the way that Kendra Adachi rewarded preorders with additional emails/episodes.
Could you reward preorders with a one-off zoom call with you? And if I’m not being too greedy, could we have an Australasian session at a time that works for our zone?
