why, the light at the end of the tunnel, of course! i don’t know what has been up with me this week, but i am ready for it to end. i think i’ve just been down about a combination of things:
✗ being stressed about a talk i have to give next week
✗ my eval on monday where i got warned about not having enough procedures
✗ not having time last weekend to ‘get ready’ for the week at all
✗ boredom in clinic, and not feeling like i am really doing much (other than ‘learning’)
✗ frustration/depression about some of the sad things in behavioral peds and child psych
✗ not feeling great on my runs
✗ eating like total (#*$&@# because i never had time to stock the fridge
✗ just being weirdly tired
✗ not getting to see josh enough
i think that’s probably plenty! however, i started today off fabulously with a 9 mile hilly run in lovely weather, and i really have cut myself some slack this week. i am super-excited for our early v-day celebration tonight (we have a tradition which i will share tomorrow with some pics) and a fun girl’s night for v-day with my sister (b/c josh will actually be on call on the 14th!).
now it’s off to a warm shower and out of my clammy running clothes — it’s so nice starting my workday at 9 on fridays!
