A quick scroll through my reader:
Below are all of the blogs that a) I read regularly and b) post frequently.  There are probably many other blogs in each category that I would enjoy, but I cut my list down to a fairly small number for time-management reasons and have not looked back.

Time/happiness/habits
The Happiness Project
Books
Mothers In Medicine (honestly, this one has become primarily a source of negativity for me.  I should probably delete)
Minimalist-leaning

The Simple Dollar

Paleo
Family/Life

A Healthy Slice of Life

My Life in Transition

LagLiv

Organization/Stationery
Fashion

Effortless Anthropologie

What am I missing out on?  I’m not really in the market to add any more, but you never know . . .

Aw!! Thanks so much for continuing to read me! I really do look forward to your comments. 🙂

Wish I had some new blogs to read so looking forward to seeing what your other readers recommend.

Mom has been irking me lately too, but I can’t seem to make myself stop reading. 😛 annoying.

I’m flattered that I made the cut – and will be checking out other blogs on your list. Within the past year, I did a sweep and cut out blogs that I just read because I’d been reading them for so long, but didn’t necessarily enjoy or have something to add to my life. (Many of these were "healthy living" blogs that I’ve been following since the big blog-boom, but I don’t have much of a reason to relate/follow them anymore.) I thought I would miss them, but I really don’t. And it’s kind of refreshing to remove them and move on, although I’m super selective about who I add these days.

I also follow a couple of "healthy living blogs" just by habit, but I think I should also delete them. I still like yours (of course) and neverhomemaker and Joy the baker for recipes and witty jokes, but that’s about it. Others just… really get on my nerves for a lot of reasons.

I can see why MIM is irksome. Reading it one wonders why anybody would choose medicine and kids. But in reality there are plenty of doctors who are also mothers with great (and happy) kids.

well great, now I have MORE new blogs that sound awesome for me to spend time on. (j/k, I appreciate it, I’m in the mood to change up my reading a bit). There are so many blogs I still read occasionally mostly because I’ve been following the story for so long, but that don’t post often or have changed focus that I probably should give up. I have not enjoyed MiM lately, either. Its just been a bunch of letters from young women wanting advice about "should I go to medical school if I want to have 5 kids, and I’m 35, and I want to homeschool". I enjoyed the blog more when they had "day in the life" type posts (I’m a total sucker for day in the life posts, I LOVE peeking into others’ windows and seeing how they do the day-to-day stuff!)

Thank you!! I’m really needing some new reading material, and several of these look AWESOME. I’ve been stuck on old-school "Healthy Living Blogs" but I either find them boring or they aren’t posting often, so it’s good to see some new options. The only one (besides yours) that I still really like is Healthy Tipping Point. I just love the positive-vibe that I can’t let it go.

Thanks so much for having Penelope Loves Lists on YOUR list. I so appreciate it!

As you know, I adore your blog. You keep it real and that’s become so rare these days in the all the pretty-for-Pinterest hubub.

I’m off to explore a few more of these blogs, some of which are new to me. I love that!
