a bizarre day

November 9, 2016

Like many others, I woke up and was shocked this morning.  But I am trying to move on.  There’s nothing to do BUT move on and keep living, right?  And take this as motivation to stand up for what we believe in.

I’ll leave you with Annabel’s take on all this.  And I’m trying to follow her advice.  (It’s hard, though).  While I really do want to respect those with all kinds of beliefs and mean no ill will towards individual voters who may have had their reasons for voting one way or another, I am struggling to make peace with today’s news.  We all have to band together though, and move towards more kindness and acceptance and equality and togetherness as best as we can going forward.

There really isn’t another choice.

(Other than moving.  Which we haven’t ruled out, but honestly I don’t want to go away from family.)

Life goes on, but it will not be the same. I find peace in knowing what I will be fighting for– and against. Much love to you xoxoxo

Don’t move – Florida needs you! And that’s coming from one of the tiny blue dots in red Indiana.
