Today is a furlough day (I’m not sure what else to call it, though one day/pay period is a pretty mild furlough). I am determined not to work for free on my furlough day.
SO INSTEAD I WILL:
❏ Take the kids on a walk to visit the turtles
❏ Return their overdue library books to the school
❏ Catch up on my home organization (I got behind, oops)
❏ Catch up on my *life* organization (desk/email)
❏ Do my workout not at the crack of dawn (Cardio Core #23 – almost done w/ phase 1!)
❏ Re-record my BLP episodes (I did a “first draft” but that was a month ago and I know I can do better! I want my debut episodes to be great)
❏ Read
❏ Order books (from one of the FL stores on this list) + summer workbooks for the kids
That is about it.
PS: Last night I impulsively placed an order at Archer & Olive (and totally overdrew my allowance, but I will repay my debt).
(Plus I ordered their intriguing acrylic pens!!! Am very concerned about smear potential since it seems like basically paint in a pen, but I had to try them. Ordered the 0.7mm tropical)

Please share an update on your home organization. I’m trying to decide if that program is worth the cost.
Hi! So far, I really like it. It’s hard to know about cost. My feeling is that if you have the $$$ to spare, it would be. It is cheaper than hiring an organizer and you can repeat it as many times as you want. I really like that each day is bitesized!! I haven’t gotten a ton of earth shattering ideas but at the same time I feel supported & motivated. I will do a more comprehensive review down the road. I’m on the 5th week but i kind of skipped week 4 (closet) b/c not ready to do closet yet!!!
i need to plan a day with no work too! 🙂 it has been too long.
Archer & Olive is my new favorite plurge. I have been journaling every day since quarantine started…it has been very helpful. But I don’t think it hurts to have a very pretty journal to enjoy while doing it! The paper quality is just to die for! I’m dying to know how you like them!
