Weekend

Sunday Report

April 3, 2022

Hello from the back end of our weekend! Now that screens are back in our life (we did screen free March!), I admit I am very grateful that they exist. We spent all morning outside (G had a playdate & A came with me while C went skateboarding) and now I am tired. Letting the kids enjoy some screen time is basically . . . a gift I am giving to myself.

DONE:

Grocery shopping / meal planning (PrepDish Super Fast plan with some modifications as usual)

Make lunches (complete thanks to Annabel! I hope this continues to stay fun for her . . . and if not, perhaps I will have to formalize this business relationship and pay her!)

Run (4 miles, under 70 degrees – I will take it!)

Text babysitter about upcoming date nights (one in April, one in May)

NOT DONE YET:

Put week up on board (below was last week! Quite tame, no field trips/bday parties/etc. Had forgotten C’s baseball started yesterday!)

Work on finalizing April goals (though I think they can be summarized as MOVE AND SURVIVE)

Organize desk. It’s not terrible, but it’s not good either . . .

Measure A for my mom who is making her a sweater

key info: who is driving, which activities/sports, and what is for dinner

slightly early bday gift!!!
won an “enthusiasm award” on the first baseball session

After listening to your “What’s Saving My Life Right Now” podcast episode, I ran out and subscribed to Prep Dish. This week I started my first menu, and I like it already. The prep day was very fast and easy. Thank you for the recommendation!
