Apparently I’m in a very ‘pulling the trigger’ mode, because I booked the PHL trip and sent out a book club invite! And people responded!
I don’t think it’s impulsivity but rather just a lot of energy to move things forward if I am excited about them. And I am okay with that.
Today we have:
A’s birthday party (1 month belated because the initial date we chose was next to spring break and basically no one could come!). It’s at a pottery painting place – should be fairly easy/smooth!
Bday party of one of G’s friends (at a playground)
Bday part of one of C’s friends (at a pool)
I have yet to discuss with Josh how we might divide and conquer these activities but let’s just say I hope I don’t have to go to all 3 . . .
ALSO, hope the “isolated thunderstorms” below hold off. (Also, high of 93!?!? That is really insane and unpleasant. FL is very humid but we actually don’t usually get temps close to 100. 93 in early May is #($*&@#(*&@).
Happy Mother’s Day weekend!

It was 96 degrees in Orlando yesterday. Too hot.
Oh, yes it was! We were lucky to book our Disney trip over the heat wave. Think crowds and mask wearing in lines in 95 degree heat. Oof!
What was the important announcement for school parents yesterday? Apparently I’m on the edge of my seat 🙂
I think nothing really! I was surprised but that was what I heard. They were just excited to have an in person meeting 😄
I was wondering too – totally nosy!
Also with reference to yesterday’s post – can’t you order IKEA on line for delivery? We can here and it’s my favourite way to shop for furniture from that store.
We ended up doing that but we are going to pick up today! (We live close!!)
