Miraculously, driving last night was a non-issue. Hooray for overblown weather forecasts! Today however we do have a TS hitting and I am planning to make it a Shut In kind of day (I’ve gotten several flash flood warnings on my phone already and the rain shows no signs of stopping, so it seems apropos).
Annabel is already crafting a treasure hunt with some sort of integrative craft situation and I am planning on allowing screens free-for-all at 1 pm.
My own to-do list:
- Redo my nails
- Days 22 – 26 in Organize 365 100 day program – CLOSET
- “Strength test” from TS #2 and a yoga (Peloton yoga) session
- Order groceries for tomorrow
I wish I could share graduation pix! It was an emotional event and I will really miss those graduates. But I am not about to ask residents permission to be on this blog so here you go:
AND the kids finished school! (No uniforms required on the last day, so the pix don’t match, but that’s ok). Onto pre-K4, 3rd grade, and 5th grade!
Okay, onto my modest to do list & a lot of reading and relaxing today (or as much as that is possible with 3 kids at home). And happy 73rd bday to my dad, definitely will be FaceTiming him as well 🙂

Happy Saturday. That pic of you is wonderful – you look relaxed and confident. I’m going to mirror your screens free for all at 1pm so I can get in a nice long peloton ride. Quick fun book recommendation: “the murder rule” by dervla mctiernan is fantastic. I can’t put it down.
Your dress is so elegant and lovely. You are looking awesome Sarah, have a relaxed shut-in day 😊
What a lovely photo of you!! So glad you had a nice time! Have fun relaxing on this rainy Saturday!
Your dress is fabulous – love that colour and style on you. You look beautiful and I’m so relieved your drive wasn’t horrendous after all.
Hooray to the kids for finishing another year of school and for you for surviving all the upheaval the last year has brought with COVID, the move, and dozens of others stressors.
I love BOY/EOY school pics. It’s so much fun to reflect on how they grow over the course of a school year. Hope your staying in day is lovely.
