I don’t love every episode of the Tim Ferriss Show. But I was quite impressed with this one:
Seth Godin discusses the value of meaning and significance in our human lives, climate change, teamwork, humanistic business practices, and much more. I did a lot of thinking as I listened to this episode.
It has been a stressful week due to some non-bloggable things and this episode brought me some solace and helped me think about the bigger picture of a) what a gift and miracle it is to be alive and b) ways to make a meaningful contribution.
Will have to add his book to my burgeoning summer reading list.
TOTALLY UNRELATED, EXCEPT:
Except for the fact that when I get stressed I tend to want to . . . play with planners. I heard on Planners and Wine that Plum Paper seems to have changed their paper!!!! Can anyone confirm? It was previously really slippery and I smudged it instantly.

I just started using a Plum Paper planner and don’t see an issue with the paper. In fact, I really like it and don’t see any issues with smearing 🙂
Awesome! I think they changed it!!!
I have a Plum Paper and I don’t have any issues with smearing, save for the beginning of the month page with the monthly tab. That one is thicker and smudges so much that I just don’t use it anymore!
Thanks for the pod rec! Got a long drive to PA for a soccer tourney this weekend – I’ll add this to my queue. Enjoy your holiday weekend.
Interesting, I hadn’t heard anything about the paper. I just compared my newest one I ordered on the teacher sale to an older notebook and I can’t say I notice any difference?
My first Plum Paper planner arrived this week, as I got a good deal on a sale the other week. I have only written in it a bit and my handwriting looks nice and smooth on it with the pen I used (I love the bottle to pen ones where they have made a pen out of recycled plastic) and no issues.
Wish I could post pics here with the layout I did, will have to email! For those on IG I will be posting it at @lizs_lovely_life
