I am using a Midori Gradation Diary for 2025–mostly because I liked the daylight hours depiction. For the past couple years I’ve liked a Designworks Ink weekly planner that Barnes and Noble sold but it’s not made anymore. Unfortunately it’s hard for me to find what I want (a dated weekly planner that is not spiral-bound, is small enough to fit in a purse but big enough to fit my messy handwriting, some unstructured pages at the front or back, a cover that is smooth to the touch and has a design I like, sturdy, ideally a pocket and bookmark and some sort of closure, and most importantly a layout that doesn’t put the whole week on one page with a blank page facing like studio 331 but has more blank space on a 2-page spread than the Moleskine or Cavallini or Peter Pauper). I am wondering if I’ll find the Midori too small and if the white cover will get gross, and second-guessing whether a Letts of London A5 might have been a better choice, but I’m very stick-to-it when it comes to planners so I can rethink for 2026.

I thought that Midori Gradation diary looked really interesting! I hope you end up liking it! Could possibly put a clear cover over the white!?

I have a Papier weekly planner (academic year, don’t love it but it’s fine) but most of my planning is digital in Notion, with the occasional weekly to do list planning pad when I feel like I just need a big list. I feel like I could swap the planner for a daily planning pad since I don’t use the monthly calendaring, etc.

    Personal:
    Spouted for daily planning
Makeslife (horizontal this year) for goal setting, and will be using weekly pages as morning intentions/evening reflections.
I did not end up using my cousin this year, so I may redate and use the weekly as time tracking on/off next year and/or as nutrition/fitness planner. Or I may use Erin Condren wellness planner for fitness/nutrition (TBD here).

    Work:
I changed direction midyear, so I’m in an academic dayplanner (target version) and I tentatively plan to stay in it. May move into an Erin Condren Daily Duo if they go on sale once my current planner runs out.

I just received my 2025 Planner Pad. It is my fourth year to use that brand thanks to a recommendation from an interview on your podcast! I am self employed and it works well for all my professional and personal responsibilities.
