I totally get adventure credit on this one!! Miami + Peloton + gorgeous weather + yoga + friends (well, and family – my SIL met me there!) = lovely start to the weekend.
I almost said no when my friend texted me about this event because a) driving to Miami can be frustrating and b) G has gymnastics on Saturday. Josh took G (he’s on call, but it worked out + he didn’t get called) and I learned that at 6:45 AM on a Saturday there is basically no traffic, making the drive super quick and easy.
AAAAND now I am home and we have a really open weekend overall. Thinking today will be bookstore + pool . . .
Really glad I went!

What a fun morning! Our feels like temp this am was 33 and it was super windy so in opted to do a CG strength workout it which was really hard! Our weather is all over the place. It was 90 last Sunday! We are going to a big annual spring paella party this afternoon/evening at a friend’s house. Hopefully it warms up a bit by then!
So fun! Anytime I do something like that I feel so proud of myself and like “I’m alive, doing things!” But it does take energy to do them so good for you.
Oh how fun- well done taking the risk and energy to do something different! Sounds like a great way to start the weekend, and a fun plan for the rest of the day. We went out for lunch with our new neighbours this weekend, I was also a little unsure (exhausted from a busy week and these are new people so always a bit more effort), but of course it was great to connect with new people and glad we went. 🙂
sounds so much fun! sometimes we need to get out there and just do it! 🙂
Well look at you, you little celebrity! 🙂
Yoga with Chelsea sounds really lovely! Glad you were able to go and that you had a good time.
I also think that you totally get adventure credit on today’s live yoga event, Dr. Sarah Hart-Unger. I think it makes sense to use a combination of yoga sessions online and live yoga sessions.
OH THAT IS SO COOL! Yes, you definitely get “adventure” credits here. I think you found the one time of day that driving to Miami isn’t horrible. I’m very glad this worked out for you.
Regarding your last post- I looked at the MMD “minimalist” book guide and picked out a book I want to read- I’m glad you reminded me of it because I want to put a library hold on it right now!
Looks lovely. I was wondering about doing it outside but it looks like it was either overcast or shady enough to be comfortable!
PS – Always fun to see another awesome Chelsea in the world 🙂
It was at 8 am so it was quite nice and we did have some shade initially!!
