One suggestion for the person struggling with small task overwhelm – consider delegation! I don’t book travel for our family because I know it’s an area where I get into option overwhelm. My husband books all our hotels, and my teen son does most of the research of flights. They both run their final recommendation by me (my husband because I’d do the same with him for large expenses, my son because he can’t actually book the flights), but I’m not doing the research. I make sure if I have any clear desires (direct flight, room with a view, etc) that I’ve communicated that. It will take my husband 10 minutes to narrow down hotel options, and I’d end up down a rabbit hole for at least an hour.
i like this example brooke – thank you!! A legit helped me with travel planning for our hawaii trip. it was actually much more fun to do together. i could see her taking ownership of some aspects in the future!
