Recovering & Stuff

July 5, 2026

Friday I was kind of in a mood.

Saturday I was DEFINITELY in a mood.

Today I woke up feeling better! (Hormonal tide shifting perhaps? Not sure but I’ll TAKE IT!)

Weekend notes:

We watched The Sheep Detectives — sesb recommended it and it was a lovely and charming diversion that I realized was streaming for free (Amazon Prime) — hooray! I definitely agree with the Knives Out x Babe assessment. G & C both really liked it too.

I made the blueberry cake and it was so good.

super lemony and good!

Josh is feeling well enough to do things like this, which is great:

I have been listening to this on repeat:

Gia Margaret Singing

I got up at 6 to order from the Target x Love Shack Fancy collab at A’s request (she got up too and we each ordered some stuff). Including a planner to review, haha.

cute lunch tote that I did not order!
sadly all sold out

All right, onward + upward. I will plan the week on the board for the first time in a while. Life is going to go on.

Yay! So glad you liked Sheep Detectives! We went to see disclosure day on Friday (it was bad AND the lady sitting next to me farted smellily every few min the entire movie) *however* I did think of you guys bc the seats reclined and there were elevated foot rests on all seats. You can even pick “handicapped” seats when you reserve. Now if only there were good movies out…

We are a bit stuck in the house this weekend due to weather, but I copied you and made some banana bread – it turned out well! We also took the dogs for a walk in the torrential downpour this morning and it was… wet. But also the fog in the nature area by my house was really pretty and there were no people, so yay!

I hope you have a lovely rest of your weekend!

I was able to find the blue planner in the Venice FL store today and grabbed it for my 12Yr old. She loved it. I don’t feel like $10 is a bad price at all.

Glad Josh is feeling a little better. And glad you’re feeling better! Yes, onward and upward.

Ok, I’m sold- it’s time for us to watch Sheep Detectives. What ages do you think it is suitable for?
I’m so glad to see Josh up and engaged! I know it’s so hard when there is pain involved to feel “alive”, so I’m thankful to hear/see the progress, even though I know it’s so slow!
