Ep #317: Reasons to Plan Seasonally + Goal Planners (Farewell to PowerSheets + Amplify!)

August 24, 2026

in today’s episode, I share some of the ways in which I benefitted from my own (Q4) seasonal planning session, and then pivot to a discussion of goal planners- what’s out there, what’s going away, and what can they help with.

I also share plans to create a Nested Goals Workbook for 2027 (!) – stay tuned!

Worth noting that Makselife has both dated and undated option (flagship planner vs companion notebooks). I personally love their products and have finally found planner peace for this phase of life 🙂

I’m super bummed about Amplify. Though I haven’t used them in a few years, I love their product and it served me well during the time I used it. They were one of the few with a super early start time and late end time on their time blocking which I really appreciated.

I’ve been using the Ink & Volt goal planner for 3 years now and plan to use it again next year. Relatively simple layout, nice thick paper and wide enough lines for my giant handwriting.
