J / C / G went fishing (with our friends) and caught 0.77 lb of fish for our dinner. (This is in contrast to last year when they got multiple pounds and we ended up taking a bunch home!)
Meanwhile the rest of us spent hours at the pool + lagoon. The weather even cooperated for us (somewhat unexpected this time of year, really).
We headed out to dinner at the resort restaurant and they cooked our 0.77 lb of fish (appetizer, ha). It was a fun night and I should have taken pix at dinner (but did not!).
TODAY:
- everyone slept in at least somewhat. (Being in the era where I can grab a quiet morning and gym session for myself on vacation? I really love it.)
- gym session – check (leg day)
- headed to a water obstacle course in which I am going to be probably somewhat grossed out but am going to attempt it anyway
- hopefully another relaxing afternoon nap
- dinner off-resort
