happy in the sun
today is what looks to be the last of a string of absolutely gorgeous days in the triangle* — sun with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s. a beautiful day for a long run or a race, and i can’t help but think [and be a little jealous] of all of the marathoners gearing up to run chicago this morning!
i haven’t been including too many back-to-back runs, but it’s going to be hard to resist the sunshine outside right now. i may end up run/walking it for a little bit of a break — and bonus: this american life will last longer!
also on the docket for today:
✰ prenatal yoga + fro-yo date [i hope they have PUMPKIN!]
✰ blog clean-up [ie: sidebars!]
✰ español
✰ the usual: meal-planning/grocery shopping [i am determined to make this WORK this week!] + laundry
✰ edible perspective vegetable fried rice for dinner
simple. relaxed. easy. fun. i’ll take it.

wedding + pix
we attended the wedding of two wonderful friends last night and josh and i had a blast! the whole event was relaxed but so nice, and i loved everything about it, from the downtown durham venue to the DJ to the food [a million different buffet stations + then wedding cupcakes!!]. so many friends from med school/residency were there too, which made things extra special and fun.
and, i have to say, i loved wearing my dress.
