= not a lot of time to post today, but I’M ON A STREAK SO . . .
Summary:
up @ 7 with kids (2/3 of them) and Josh
8:30 MyGym class with G
10 Hot stroller run (3.2 mi / 10:02/mi / freaking hot & humid)
11:30 Drive to play date in Miami Beach w/ old friends that we miss. They have 4 kids – a girl A’s age, a boy C’s age, and toddler twin girls! Pool / play etc
4:00 Leave playdate (big kids would have moved in if we had let them, but we had to get back)
5:16 Right now. G just woke up. Josh has to swing by hospital. Other kids fell asleep in the car. Headed out to sushi w/ family.
(Wish us luck.)
More tomorrow!

Love these dailies. I’m new to needing to be on call. I’d love a post of tips or even just 101 survival if you feel comfortable sharing!
I know it’s a challenge to blog every day with everything you’re juggling, but I love reading about the day to day! It’s inspiring to read about your full and fulfilling life.
Oh man – I hate call and don’t feel like I’ve “figured it out” even this many years in (I’m not sure sleep deprivation/interruption is something one can ‘figure out’ anyway). my only tip is to make life easy in other ways – childcare, give yourself a break on ‘extra things’ when on call. And keep written lists to really strategize your rounding for each day 🙂
Also loving the daily blogging!!
