WBR Day 1: The Start & Meal Planning

December 21, 2019

WBR = Winter Break Report.

I have very little to report at this juncture, since in my mind the break starts this morning.

IWP meal planner ($10 coupon here that I also get ‘points’ for)

However, I have created a (flexible) meal plan for the next week or so of dinners. Here goes:

Today: Leftover soba noodles w/ vegetables & peanut sauce from Run Fast Eat Slow (liked by A & G, not really C but oh well)

Sunday: (GROCERY SHOP DAY) White chicken chili (from the ChooseFi vault where there is a ‘favorite recipes’ list) w/ tortilla chips

Monday: Out with our nanny and her husband πŸ™‚

Tuesday: Rioja-style potatoes with chorizo and peas (from Dinner Illustrated); pepper strips

Wednesday: Hanukkah party (yes on Christmas!) at Josh’s parents’ house. Also holiday cookie decorating earlier in the day πŸ™‚

Thursday: (GROCERY SHOP DAY #2) Chicken shawarma with cucumber/tomato salad (also from the Choose FI vault)

Friday: Black bean soup (Dinner Illustrated) w/ avocado, sour cream, cheese & tortilla chips

Saturday: order pizza

Sunday: Korean beef bowl (from the Choose FI vault)

LUNCHES: leftovers, sandwiches, Annie’s mac ‘n’ cheese, out

BREAKFASTS: eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, leftover bagels (in freezer) from Viva’s bday party w/ peanut butter or cream cheese

    Yay! Any chance of a 2020 goal setting blog? I’ll have some time after Christmas to do some planning and looking for motivation!

    Sarah – I love your podcast and just found your blog for the first time. I am also a full-time working mom who has a side jog helping other moms. My niche is fat loss, specializing in helping moms achieve their dream physiques. I find SO many women who are actually under-eating and this is preventing them from reaching their goals. Would you have any interest in covering this topic on your blog/podcast? I will link my blog in a second comment.
