Today is Monday. I am “off” but have 2 work meetings and a podcast recording (early this time so I can help with school afterwards). Call week starts tomorrow. I am feeling pretty calm about it. My last call week (April, aka countdown days #30-36) was actually quite busy, but call is not as bad when you can sleep in a little if woken up overnight. (Hmmm. Could potentially carry this little hack through into non-COVID times. Maybe.)
I also have my wardrobe consultation follow up with Lani and it’s Day 1 of Organize 365’s 100 day program!
Oh, and a shoulder update: still some pain. I am going to have to take a ‘pause week’ from 80DO. BUT I was able to do the leg workout yesterday without aggravating it, and running was fine. Today I will try “cardio flow”. I think I need at least another week before attempting the full/upper body workouts, though.

Yesterday’s main activity was . . . hanging out in the rain. It was actually a bit of a novelty — in south FL, most rain comes with lightning, so you can’t exactly send your kids out to jump into puddles. Yesterday’s rain reminded Josh and me of NC, and it was cool and thunder-free. ALSO the kids were going stir-crazy. SO – rain play. We only had one pair of rain boots (Annabel has some lovely Hunters that we received via hand-me-down) so they had to share.
I got a dress & a necklace for Mother’s Day (picked out online by the kids. . . purchased by Josh!). I did some reading & took a nap. I did an EPIC shopping trip @ Whole Foods. It was a good day.
