I think the last time we went to the Philadelphia Zoo may have been before G was born (though I guess she was there in a way, since she was born 6 months later). Today I guess we made up for lost time!

The weather cooperated beautifully and it was a really nice trip. G was a trooper — apparently we walked over 3 miles!

We followed it up with a trip to Rita’s

Very quintessential Philadephia.
We have been relaxing for a few hours since coming back — I finished American Royals Book 1 (and now I just want to read Book 2 though I have both This Time Tomorrow and Lessons in Chemistry from Libby on my kindle).
Back with show notes + hopefully parade pix tomorrow . . .

G is really livin’ the dream! What a lovely trip away.
I bet your parents think of that last picture as one of “the kids” eating ice cream–it’s adorable! And it looks like G is loving all the concentrated attention from grandparents.
Your parents are super cute! I always get so tickled when I see couples that have been together for a long time and look alike. I don’t know why, but it gives me joy.
