Clouds Parting

March 16, 2024

Converging on a single week, the past ~5 days included:

  • Call (always a challenge, even if I’m managing it reasonably well!)
  • Whirlwind of school visits and decision making (we fit in 2 last week despite call which was stressful)
  • PMS (because of course! Call + PMS is a dangerous mix and I feel like it happens a lot!)
  • Not feeling super great (maybe because of PMS but I also had a mild cough thing going on)

So that was really a lot at once and while I endured, I didn’t really enjoy it. But maybe it’s good that life has these valleys because today I feel amazing. I’m still on call but (as of now) the weekend doesn’t look bad, we’ve made the school decision which feels like a weight off, I’m used to the time change, I’m feeling good health wise and PMS is um, over.

I am not actually at the beach, but when I searched my Google Photos for clouds, it found this . . .

Tons of people are feeling off. Including myself. The week has been so rough for me, too. No call or pms, but husband was yea willing and state testing and solo parenting. And time change!

Ooof, what a week, sounds so intense. So glad the school decision is made and you are feeling better. I now live in a place without daylight savings time and I am glad it’s one thing I don’t have to deal with!

Wow, what a week. So glad you are on the other side of it! The time change always messes me up far more than it seems like it should. Yuck. Congrats on the school decision!

We have a school decision to make. That can take a lot of brain space and emotional energy for sure. Glad you made it to the weekend part of your call week! Hope you got some good runs in this week to carry you through.

Just think with the time change you had one less hour on call. Haha. Glad the clouds are clearing.

I did think of that 🙂 but benefit outweighed by the fatigue of feeling like it’s even earlier in the morning!!!

Yay for over-with-PMS! That must have been the big cloud over your head. Even physical sickness could be caused by PMS, so enjoy your next two weeks, running super strong and fast! 🙂
