Themes: lots of skiing, lots of good food, plenty of rest.
We have stayed close to Eastern Time, getting up early and going to bed by 8-9 pm! I think the altitude and activity does make us all want to sleep more, and it’s been pretty glorious.
Some pix from ski days #2 and #3!
Day 2: All 3 kids had lessons. A moved up to C’s level! G moved up a level too. Josh and I had fun exploring on our own, and at the end of the day we did a run all together.
Day 3: FRESH snow this morning made the skiing even more fun! Big kids did not have lessons and G did. A, C, Josh and I made it to my favorite run (a bit complicated to get there but we did it!) and got to try the new chairlift on that side (Madison 8). G had a great time and did not really miss us. She had the same instructor all 3 days, and she was awesome!!
G is READY for real lifts and is rapidly improving by the day. She is going to surpass my skill level or possibly has already . . .

Lots of good meals!
I kind of lost track, but this was taken (I think) at The Cabin, where we had Christmas Eve dinner in 2022!

Lunch yesterday in a heated enclosed picnic table:

Pool/hot tub!
I went in with A & G while C & J rested (they had gone out longer in the afternoon and needed a break!)

We gave the kids Hanukkah presents in the room last night — A got Uggs Tazz (she actually got them early, but that was her official gift!), C got a sports jersey (I forget which, Josh picked it!), and G got a Duke cheerleading outfit.
We have one more ski day and then we head back! This trip rejuvenates me so much and I’m so glad we decided to go.

Yay! It sounds amazing. And how amazing to be rejuvenated after a trip rather than exhausted. Enjoy your last day!
This all sounds amazing. The pic of G passed out is so sweet. It makes sense to stay on EST! Skiing is so tiring so you can all collapse into bed each day and sleep hard before tackling the slopes again! Going to bed that early is kind of my preferred scheduled!
