1- G had her 3 year old well child check yesterday! She is 38″ and 35.5 lb. She was very well behaved and charming and was not due for any vaccines (love 3 year old checks for that reason!).
And, we got to see one of the 3rd year residents which was pretty thrilling and fun!
2- A’s school had a virtual Trivia Night – professionally run by some guy in Georgia (I’d link the company because they did a fantastic job but I’m not sure of the name!). I didn’t know what to expect (and honestly, I wasn’t that excited) but it ended up being SO MUCH FUN! They used Kahoot and having a pro emcee made it seamless. Much more fun that any in-person school event I’ve ever been to, quite honestly. A and I were a team and came in #33/112 (not that great but we made a few silly mistakes early on that were hard to recover from).
(I did have to kind of ignore G and let her watch Cocomelon while we did it, but whatever, she was happy too.)
3- The kids slept until 7 this am and so did Josh and I. It felt downright luxurious . . .
So, yay. Also it’s takeout night. And I just finished an interval run (“2Fast4U” on the Many Happy Miles schedule if anyone else is doing that!).

Ha ha – I did 2 Fast 4 U too but I bet my intervals were a lot slower than yours 🙂
i am not sure about that!
mine were 7:30 – 8:15 for the fast parts. and one where I was dying that was like 9.
PS: I programmed it into my watch and it was great! It automatically beeped and directed me to tell me to go to next interval etc. I forgot that you could do that but love that feature!
I’m so glad the 3yo appt doesn’t include shots!! Yay! We weighed our son recently and he is a petite 27.5 lbs! I was surprised he was that much but has put on weight lately. Will be interesting to see if our 2nd is as petite! We get sooo much use out of clothes since he is in sizes for so long!
You strategically used tv so don’t feel guilty! When I have the boys on my own, I play the ‘how long before I turn on PBS kids’. 😂 made it 1.5 hours this morning and managed to play hi ho cherry-o and the hungry caterpillar with the toddler while bouncing the baby in his bouncy seat. Woo hoo!
none of my kids as babies or toddlers would ever be classified as petite 🙂 just their natural tendency. interesting to me though that G is a full 1.5″ taller than A was at the same age.
