Made it!
First trip longer than a long weekend (this trip was great but very short!) in 2 years.
Even with CV19 rates approaching “severe”, I am glad we went. We really needed a break and being here doesn’t seem significantly riskier than our regular life at home (where, notably, rates are also approaching “severe”). Posts may be sparse this week but I’ll likely share a daily highlight (or perhaps lowlight as the case may be . . .).

Enjoy! We’re heading out also for first trip in two years (four days across a couple Michigan beaches). I’m optimistic that I can keep unvaccinated boy outside via take out picnics…

Looks amazing! So glad you were able to get away. The change in scenery will be so good for you guys! We are going up to my parents’ lake home next week. I’ll get to see my sister and meet my niece who is about 2.5 months younger than our little guy. I haven’t seen my sister in 1.5 years so am excited for some time with her!
