1- I finalized my 2022 planner lineup. It’s slightly ridiculous. But whatever. This stack will be discussed in detail in about 10 days on BLP, so stay tuned 🙂
2- Currently reading: A memoir that feels like a novel. I went into it knowing nothing about it, but it has been a fascinating ride so far (about 75% in).
3- Currently enjoying: The year-end All Songs Considered podcast episodes! So far I’ve listened to the Top Listener Album Picks (here) and the Songs We Missed (here). So many good releases this year in multiple genres.
4- Currently listening (podcast): The very last ep of Edit Your Life with cohost Asha Dornfest (Claudine Koh – who I also love – will keep the podcast going, but I’m sure it will be different without the two of them together!). I’ve been listening for at least the past couple years, so this a sad departure.
5- Currently putting together: On the agenda for today to finalize the official family Winter Break Calendar/Guide for the kids. I will share here when done 🙂
HAPPY FRIDAY. Will try to wrap up lots of loose ends today — though I’m working next week, so it’s not as dire as it often is!

Molly Wizenburg has a food/comedy podcast (spilled milk), too. They review food and talk about it-it’s charming and funny. Her other books (A Homemade Life and Delaney) are memoirs centered around food and recipes-delightful, insightful, so interesting. I really enjoy her work!
I am beyond excited to learn all about your planner stack!! I have the Cultivate What Matters, the Hobonichi Techo Cousin, and my 5 year diary (2022 will be year 4!)… and am resisting the urge I have right now to add something else as well. I’m just itching to get started in my new Cousin 🙂
Oh Sarah, I laughed out loud at your planner stack! But honestly the planner content is a major reason that I follow you – can’t wait to hear your plans for your planners!!
Lol I did too. I don’t actually expect them all to get heavy use- even I’m not that insane!!
That is quite the stack!!
I read the Wizenberg book at the beginning of the year and there is one passage that remains in my heart because it is so true, about the tragedy in losing the person who shared the private moments of being parents to a child.
More than anything, this book showed me that even when we have nothing else in common, we still share the same emotions which is what makes reading so amazing!
Plus I admire her ability to put into words emotions I didn’t even realise I had.
I read Wizenberg’s first book, which I adored. I did not know she had a memoir out. I will have to try to read that in 2022. I love her writing!
That planner stack!! Oh my!!! Can’t wait to hear how you will use all of them!
I cannot even contain my excitement for the planner stack discussion!!! OMG!!!
