I ended up taking the kids to Target where they spent some gift cards + allowance. I was unable to convince C to buy the shades below, sadly.
Today:
Run
Flamingo Gardens with friends
Weekly prep stuff
Neighbor friends over for dinner
COVID note: Yes, we are operating like it’s 2019 despite there being somewhat more COVID around (Broward County is LOW on covidactnow, MEDIUM on CDC). I assume our family will likely will get it again. We will test if we will be around higher risk people, and I will continue to mask at work (which is required anyway, but I would do it either way). And yes, I recognize that being younger and healthy is a huge privilege factor here. But here we are.

Isn’t it crazy how in certain pictures kids start to look…so much older? Abby is 11, but I swear sometimes she could pass for 16.
P.S. Your shoes are adorable.
Speaking of Covid, I had a very mild case 5 months ago. My only symptoms were slight congestion and some serious fatigue. I have been wondering why running has been so hard and I started to look through my Garmin and it looks like since Covid I’ve slowed down, take more walk breaks etc. Do you notice any lingering effects?
No, but my case was nearly 1.5 years ago at this point.
