MADE IT!

April 2, 2023

(And survived Sunday’s slightly ridiculous schedule. Including the HEAT game that was really fun but didn’t get us home until 11 pm which for me is like the middle of the night. I took a rest day this AM!)

Flew PBI -> DCA. First time ever flying out of Palm Beach but it’s actually not that much farther than the MIA airport from where we live (Fort Lauderdale Airport is closer and between the two but I saved something like $500 by going to PBI and it was quite pleasant).

METRO:

clearly not locals. Hopefully they will get used to it!
PLANET WORD was awesome! And would not have known to go without you all, so thank you!
the one pic of me and it’s blurry. Oh well!
she’s really in a pickle . . .
dinner at Carving Room in NoMa and ice cream (Larry’s Homemade) for dessert bc we kind of under-ordered a little and had room

No workout report this week AND the newsletter is going to be late (probably Friday!), but I think everyone will survive 🙂

Wow, that’s a late night right before travel! I’m impressed you did that since you seem to usually be an early to bed person! But sometimes that’s the way it goes. What time did you have to leave for the airport? Seems like you must have had a fairly early flight since you fit in a museum and dinner already today!! A’s face in the metro pic is adorable. When we went to NYC and the kids were somewhere around Cameron and Annabel’s age, they were very smitten with the whole subway experience as well. Hahah.

Thankfully nope, not super early. We left at 8AM, drove an hour, and flight was at 10:40. I think i still got to sleep 7 hrs.

Looks like so much fun! It makes me excited to think about making that trip in the next few years and our upcoming trip to Boston. I can’t believe I’m going to be *at* the starting line this time two weeks from now *gulp*.
