Yes, it’s Kae!!! She is headed somewhere awesome and I came to Starbucks so we could meet IRL! It’s too bad she doesn’t live closer — it was so much fun to chat! Not surprisingly we had a lot in common (and already knew a ton about each others’ lives, haha).
I brought A & G with me and they were good coffee date companions. G had a cake pop so all was well. Josh took C skateboarding and no fractures happened, so that’s also good.
Earlier, I survived the hottest long run I’ve done (probably . . . ever?). AND crossed a running milestone: passed 1000 miles in 2023 so far.
(I have run with this amount of volume before, but not since pre-kids).
We are hosting a small gathering of neighbors tonight which I am mustering up the energy for. I am sure it will be fun.
