ALL must be complete by ~6p tonight because we have a date night (Ben Folds, woohoo!). NOT on the list is all of the usual “prep for the week” stuff because we’ll be traveling and the kids have no school! I am working tomorrow, however, so I am not really feeling that ‘vacation’ mindset just yet.
I will acknowledge this is maybe not the world’s most realistic list. We will see how much of this I can get through! I accept my own challenge . . .

Have the best time at Ben Folds!! I love his music! I saw him in concert for the first time when I was studying abroad in Australia in 2002 and have seen him a few other times. He’s so good!
That is a big list! I feel like going to Wicked would make it extra tough because it’s almost 3 hours, so there goes 3.5ish hours of your day… I could not sit through that long of a movie!! I miss the days of movies being 1.5 to maybe 2 hours long!!
oh jeez I did not know it’s 3 hours!! really 4 hrs gone because we’d have to drive there too . . plus previews . . . hmmm.
(I am not entirely sure G would sit through it, either . . .)
It’s technically 2:45 I believe. But with getting there early I would plan for 3 hours in the theater… way too dang long for me!!
You can do it! Good luck!
(And if you don’t, it’s no big deal. 😉
How are you going to a concert on a Sunday???? My husband went last night to the orchestra and didn’t get home til 11 and I was like nope! I’m going to bed! Your endurance always impresses me.
I know … a little nuts BUT a) I slept in today until 7 (no early workout) and b) I can leave for work slightly later tomorrow, like 8am, since I don’t have to take kids to school. I do have a monster workout in the AM… I imagine I will crash a bit when we travel Tuesday!
Hi Sarah. I’m hopping over from Elisabeth’s blog. She shared a link to your blog in her interview with Kae. I love the ‘optimistic’ label on this list. Are your to do lists always this neat? My notebook where I keep my lists are a mess of cross outs, and writing in the margin. This will shock no one, but I’ve not heard of Ben Folds. I enjoy music, but I rarely know the names of musicians and can never remember who sings what song. I think I was born without a chip of some sort.
Haha yes they usually are!!! And no worries for not knowing Ben Folds – his biggest heyday was in the 1990s and early 00s so totally not an artist everyone would know!
