I just got back from a super fun meetup with Lisa, Jenny, and Caroline! I think the last time I went to something that was actually called a “blogger meetup” was 2010 (anyone remember the Healthy Living Summit? I went . . . TWICE, you guys). Guess what? It was a ton of fun then, and it STILL IS.
BRING BACK THE BLOGGER MEETUP.
I guess we did! Lisa and Caroline BOTH had business-related conferences at the same Hollywood beachfront hotel, and Jenny and I are local south Floridians so . . . we made it happen! It was a delightful lunch. We *know* each other but you know, there are things you can’t blog about, right? So much to share. It was tons of fun.
Wish Lisa & Caroline lived closer and Jenny and I are determined to hang out again (trail run or we can just go to my favorite REI in Boca, haha).
WELL worth the time away from work/writing/etc!!!

I’m so glad the stars aligned so we could all get together! We could have gabbed for hours!! It was like seeing an old friend you’re known for many years! Hopefully I end up in this region again or you will do the TC marathon someday (although you’d have to train through the summer/early fall). But I am sure I will see you again!!

Well I came here to tell you that I loved your podcast episode about closet organization (it was great, your guest was so much fun, god I love clothes) and WHAT A LOVELY SURPRISE! I mean, I knew Lisa and Birchy were in Florida at the same time, but how fun to see a photo of the four of you. What a treat this was! Ahhhh I love bloggers!

Congrats on the new PR;-) I did it in 37 seconds but I got Wordle on the 3rd try so I knew it was going to be a good day. And it was! It was amazing how everything came together for the meetup. YOT was great.

First, you know I am beside myself with jealousy.
Second, this is amazing and I am so happy for you all! Four of my favourite bloggers together at once? How amazing is that.
I will admit I had no concept for how tall Jenny was – just like I had no idea Nicole was tall. Somehow in my head they were both closer to my height, but they would both be towering over me.
Also. Speaking of jealousy. Look at those short sleeves. It is like -20C here right now (-4F). Zero short sleeves in my life right now 🙁
All 3 of these ladies were 5’7” and above and I’m 5’1”!! Bringing down the average big time. Come to FL!!!

How fun! My husband was slightly horrified when my son and I traipsed off to meet some friends from the US “Are these uni friends? Who are these people?”… Erm, my birth month Reddit migrated to discord when our babies were born 7 years ago, and there are a dozen of us still active. When Elisabeth was in Portugal, I sent her my dad’s details as an emergency contact. Online friends can be real friends.
It really did give me such great peace of mind knowing there was someone I “knew” in Portugal! Thanks again for that Coree <3
