Lots of family time, 2 beautiful runs outside, deep dish pizza x 2, and one flat tire. Oh well.
We had two lovely big family dinners to celebrate Josh’s uncle. The kids were honestly super easy for the most part, thanks to a) cousins and b) some art supplies and legos thoughtfully supplied by Josh’s aunt! We were out until after 10 pm last night and 2/3 are still sleeping right now.
This morning, Josh and I are tag teaming our workouts and then we will pack up, go to a family brunch, and then fly home. IF flights are on time we will arrive home around 10pm Eastern. Tomorrow WILL be rough (all 3 kids have camp; Josh and I have work) but it will work out.
Happy weekend!

Oh what a lovely trip! So nice to celebrate the extended family and see everyone in one go.
Fingers crossed for smooth flights!
Looks like a fun trip! This is getting me really excited for my work trip to Chicago in July!
What a fun weekend! That is a late return tonight! Everyone will sleep well on Monday night for sure! I look forward to the stage where traveling with kids is mostly enjoyable. That’s only a couple of years off for us, though!
