1- I like this list:
(I don’t think learning these lessons just by reading some list would be that effective, but I still like the list.)
2- It’s the Super Bowl!! Our plans are to make Kansas/PHL/New Orleans themed food, and then MY personal plan is to go to bed after the halftime show. I may miss some great commercials but that’s ok 🙂 I guess I am rooting for the Eagles out of Philadelphian obligation!
(You can sense the passion in the above, lol)
3- Just learned about a new basketball-themed show from Mindy Kaling. Will it be . . . Mindy Project meets Ted Lasso, except basketball? (HOPING!).
4- Finishing up this:
It’s hard when you’ve just read two slam dunk favorites in a row (The Wedding People and Annie Bot)! This one is perfectly good. Just not magical for me. I am not going to DNF it now though I’m 70% done and want to see how it wraps up.
5- Did you know I’m on call next week? My discussion on complaining was well-timed. There will be no complaining (publicly and hopefully privately as well).

Wow, that list is something I need to print out and hang up in my cubicle at work and in my home office. They want about rest is especially important. I need to work on scheduling out some shouldless days for 2025! I have that David Nichols book on my whole list. I really enjoyed his other books though so it might be a better fit for me than it is for you! I just finished the Favorites, which is a kind of brain candy book about Olympic ice dancing. I liked it, but it was way too long at about 400 pages! Apparently it’s being made into a limited series television show so it’s gotten a lot of buzz.
That is an excellent list. Lots of good reminders.
I had the same thought/hope about that Mindy Kaling show! It looks so cute!
Sending you positive energy as you go into a call week!!!!
Love that list!!! And thank you so much for the intel on the new Mindy Kaling show! This will be an awesome “at-home date night” for me and my husband :). He loves all her shows and basketball! I’m not a big TV person, but even I think this sounds good. Who doesn’t love Kate Hudson and a woman showing the men she can do it better?
That was such a great list! I’m ruminating on something in my life that ALL 20 Of those really spoke to. Also, I coincidentally read Annie Bot and The Wedding People back to back as well and am also moving slowly through my current read (Same As It Ever Was by Claire Lombardo.) It’s a great book, but I honestly think I went in with a 5 star book hangover! Crossing my fingers your call week goes smoothly!
Love that list! Such great little nuggets of wisdom. And all true!
I like that list. Thanks for sharing. And I meant to comment on you blogger meet up post but I made poor choices and didn’t manage to. Seemed like a lot of fun! I love meeting bloggers in real life but it’s been so long since I’ve done that. Hopefully soon!
Oh and congrats on the book! I can’t wait to read it.
aww thanks so much!!!! hopefully will get to run with you in SF this year!! will be the YEAR of blogger meetups!
I’ve definitely invested in relationships I should have abandoned…
