1- Starting to see end of year content! Such as Kae’s 2025 accomplishments post, best books lists (only one on my TBR list as of now is A Marriage At Sea), music playlists and more. KEEP IT COMING EVERYONE!
2- My Midori Hibino and morning pages practice. Where has this cute chunky notebook been all my life? It’s SO CUTE. Just a word of warning: if you do like to write on the lines and do not have tiny handwriting, it may not work for you.

3- Be Ready When The Luck Happens. Well, I’m late to the party with this memoir but so far I’m finding it so sweet and fun!

4- The Opal App. I really love this app. It’s just enough blocking for me and has absolutely helped with my annoying ‘checking’ behaviors. (Yes, I annoy myself.) And — upholder alert — I love that I can spend time on apps that are truly not problematic (such as Haiku the mobile EHR I need for work, Google Maps, Duolingo) without feeling annoyed that I am ‘using’ excessive screen time.

My one complaint is that I honestly thought I was signing up for a trial and then . . . I was charged, before the 7 days were up (I think right away). It was probably my mistake, but the fact that this wasn’t clear is not great. That said, I find the app really helpful and I likely would have signed up for the paid version anyway.
5- Seeing pix of my book with lovely backdrops!!

And this one from Lani!

I’m still waiting to get my book in the mail but hopefully it arrives soon. How fun to see all these photos of it!
I love reflection season as well and all the best of book lists. I am still finalizing mine and likely won’t post mine until Jan in case I read something great in the next 2 weeks! I just finished a 5-star book that will make my best of list – Heart the Lover!
oooh that’s our next book club read and i just picked it up from the lib!! it’s coming with me to montana!
Yes, Heart the Lover is so great (I found the start a bit slow but ended up LOVING i)! It will definitely make my best books of 2025 list, along with another one that I know Lisa also loved–The Correspondent.
I am currently reading There is No Place for Us, which is on the NYT Top 10 books of the year list. It is excellent–a hard read, but a very important topic. And after I finish that, next us is BEST LAID PLANS! Got my copy in the mail yesterday.
